PS90X was a challenging project from award. The restoration work consisted of work on multiple roofs, masonry walls and windows simultaneously. The new windows posed as our most difficult challenge, as the interior rooms were in need of extensive repair. Although difficult, WCC stepped up to the challenge and turned the building over within budget and on schedule.
We had to perform all work without interrupting the school schedule. This required careful coordination between all parts of our team and the school administration and speedy execution of all repairs. An unexpected challenge occurred when a classroom ceiling collapsed during class due to pre-existing conditions. With superb spontaneous problem-solving, we were able to repair the ceiling efficiently, ensuring that it would be done without causing disturbance to the school’s exam season.
Whitestone Construction Corp. completed the full scope of the renovations under budget and in a timely manner, without interrupting the students or staff. Through our close collaboration on the project, we developed a wonderful relationship with the Family School and consider it a privilege to have been able to enhance its students’ educational experience.
