For the Department of Education Central Headquarters, Whitestone Construction Corp. was enlisted to replace the glazing and existing curtain wall of two facades. The other two facades required window replacement. In addition to that, railing replacement was also necessary.
Since this was an office space, WCC had to start construction at 6 PM every day, demolish the existing windows/glazing and install new windows/glazing, having the floor ready by 6 AM the next day, for use by the office staff.
With trademark flexibility and speed, our team was able to complete the job without disturbing office hours. Department of education page of windows and glazing was done via suspended scaffold, with one floor on one elevation completed for each work shift.
After the windows or glazing were installed, our painting & shade subcontractors followed behind with interior finishes the next day, ensuring efficient progress with minimal disruption. The entire project was completed in less than six months.
